About / How We Work
Accountability
A small client list, by design.
Communication, accountability and follow through
Fewer clients, full attention
Most working relationships don't end over one big mistake. They wear down slowly. An email sits unanswered for a few days. A deadline slips without warning. The person who won the work hands it to someone the client has never met, and the client starts chasing updates instead of receiving them.
Over two decades of client work, Arore has seen that pattern often enough to know where it usually starts: too many clients and not enough attention to go around.
In most working relationships, success or failure comes down to communication and accountability.
So Arore keeps its client list short. The person who scopes the work is the person who does it, answers for it and reports on it. The steps and commitments below show what that looks like in practice.
One person accountability
- One point of contact, from the first call to the final report
- Questions answered by the person doing the work
- Nothing lost in handovers, because there aren't any
Getting started
Four steps before any work begins
Arore rarely pitches on the first call. Each step gives both sides a chance to decide whether the fit is right before anything is signed.
-
1
About 1 hour
Discovery call
A free video call to learn about the business. Some people arrive with a specific service in mind. Others want a second opinion on where to start. Budget, time and available people are discussed openly, so expectations are clear on both sides. Solutions are rarely offered at this stage.
-
2
A day or two
Time to think
Arore steps back to weigh possible approaches, look at the competitive landscape and check whether its experience suits the need.
-
3
About 1 hour
Follow up call
Arore presents its thinking and, where it fits, proposes services and costs. Alternatives are discussed openly. If Arore isn't the right partner, it says so and suggests a better direction.
